The story behind
On September 2, 1959, Mr. Einar Risør started the business in Vejle at Langelinje 33.
The lease consisted of the Veneer Warehouse on the 1st floor and an open shed in the yard, which also housed the office.
In the spring of 1961, Mr. Einar Risør acquired the land on Horsensvej, and on September 2, 1961, the new veneer warehouse was completed.
In October 1964, Mr. Einar Risør acquired the land behind and the road system was established.
The company grew and in September 1967 another hall was ready for displaying veneers.
In 1969, the company was transformed into a limited liability company, where Bjarne Risør joined.
In August 1969, another expansion was needed – a superstructure of the area between the existing buildings was begun, but the winter was long and severe – and slowed down the construction by several months. However, the construction was completed on May 1, 1970.
